Abstract

ABSTRAK Rungkut Butik Hotel termasuk ke dalam jenis High Grade hotel yang berlokasikan di kawasan perkotaan Rungkut, Surabaya. Sesuai dengan spesifikasi ukuran bangunannya, proyek ini memiliki ukuran luasan yang terbatas. Walaupun termasuk ke dalam jenis hotel yang kecil, pelayanan dan fasilitas hotel kelas atas dan memiliki akomodasi yang lengkap dan mengembangkan isu micro climate Surabaya yang menjadi permasalahan di kota-kota besar dengan menerapkan konsep mediterranean sebagai salah satu solusi dari pemecahan masalah dari isu micro climate serta bentuk karakteristik desain yang unik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan cara mempelajari data yang telah dikumpulkan mulai dari brainstorming, mind mapping, moodboard dan pembuatan prototype. Selanjutnya di evaluasi dengan menggunakan kriteria dan meminta feedback. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah perancangan interior dengan merespon arsitektural bangunan yang berorientasi pada suhu daerah Rungkut Surabaya. Dengan merespon arah matahari dan sistem sirkulasi udara yang baik, bangunan ini dibuat tanpa menggunakan pendingin ruang aktif dengan semaksimal mungkin sebagai bentuk respon terhadap isu tersebut. Berdasarkan hal di atas dapat dikatakan bahwa hasil perancangan menunjukkan konsep mediterranean yang diterapkan pada Rungkut Butik Hotel memberikan efek interior yang mencerminkan daerah meditteranean yang memiliki konsep ruang terbuka dan motif geometris sebagai aksen estetika ruang. Kata kunci : Butik Hotel, Microclimate, Perancangan Interior, Mediterranean. ABSTRACT Rungkut Boutique Hotel is a High-Grade hotel which is located in Rungkut, Surabaya. By the specifications for the size of the building, this project has a limited area. Although it is a small hotel, the services and facilities of a high-end hotel and have complete accommodation and develop the microclimate issue in Surabaya which is a problem in big cities by applying the Mediterranean concept as a solution to solving problems from the microclimate issue and form unique design characteristics. The method used in this research is by studying the data that has been collected trough from brainstorming, mind mapping, mood boards, and making prototypes. Then it is evaluated by criteria and asking for feedback. The result of this research is interior design by responding to building architecture which is oriented to the temperature of the Rungkut area of Surabaya. By responding to the direction of the sun and a good air circulation system, this building was made without using active air conditioning as much as possible as a response to this issue. Based on the above, it can be said that the design results show the Mediterranean concept applied to the Rungkut Butik Hotel gives an interior effect that reflects the Meditteranean area which has the concept of open space and geometric motifs as an aesthetic accent.
