Abstract

This catalogue was published as a part of an international exhibition organized by the Department of Fine Art, Faculty of Visual Arts, Indonesia Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta (ISI Yogyakarta) on 13-17 November 2023 at the Fadjar Sidik Gallery, ISI Yogyakarta. The exhibition themed “REPRESENTATION” was curated by Bambang “Toko” Witjaksono and officially opened by F. X. Harsono. The exhibition featured digital print artworks from lecturers and students of the ISI Yogyakarta, Indonesia; Silpakorn University, Thailand; Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia; and Eszterházy Károly Catholic University, Hungary. The exhibition also featured artworks from invited artists, including Deni Rahman, Ong Hari Wahyu, and Uji “Hahan” Handoko Eko Saputro. In general, with digital print techniques, representation can be interpreted as a statement, a statement that is a representation of the original object or a representation of the digital print technique itself. The goals are to take part in international networking agenda and develop the practice in art media.
