Abstract
The creation of this women's fashion piece was inspired by the Triloka (Triloka), the relationship between three worlds: Sakala (the upper world), Sakala Niskala (the middle world), and Niskala (the lower world). The goal was to produce comfortable and aesthetically pleasing women's clothing, reflecting the values of Triloka using the batik tulis technique. In addition to aesthetics, an ergonomic approach is also required to achieve comfort and safety. This begins with an understanding of the various issues closely related to the relationship between humans and objects, or the relationship between the user and the work being created. The creation of this work involves several steps. These steps begin with the design of the work, which involves collecting reference data and analyzing it, then creating a sketch, determining the chosen design, breaking down the pattern, sketching the batik motif onto the pattern, tracing the pattern, and the batik process, which includes the nglowong process using hot batik wax, color blending, nyolet, color fixing and ngelorod. And then followed by sewing, overlocking, and finishing the clothing. The resulting work consists of six pairs of clothing with the Triloka theme, the main idea behind the creation of batik motifs in women's fashion using the batik tulis technique. All works are entitled “Harmony of the Triloka” because each work is a representation of the harmony of the relationship between the three realms contained in the Triloka. Keywords: Triloka, Women's Clothing, Batik Tulis Technique
