Abstract
Senthong tengah adalah bilik tengah yang terletak dalam satu deretan dengan bilik-bilik yang lain. Senthong tengah terdapat di bagian belakang dari keluasan rumah-pokok atau rumah tinggal tradisional Yogyakarta. Sampai sekarang nilai spriritual dan sakral senthong-tengah masih dirasakan dan dihormati oleh keluarga penghuni serta anak keturunannya Maksud dan tujuan penelitian di sini sesuai dengan ruang lingkup yag dipilih ialah tentang fungsi dan makna simbolis senthong tengah rumah tinggal tradisional Yogyakarta.
