Abstract
Rumah tradisional di Tegal Gendu ini dibangun pada abad ke-17 pada masa kerajaan Mataram. Semua bangunan tradisional di Tegal Gendu, pemiliknya masih keluarga besar orang Kalang. Ragam hias yang diterpkan pada elemen rumah tradisional tersebut ada 2 macam; geometrik & tumbuhan. Ragam hias yang menonjol terdapat pada pasren (tempat upacara sakral yang ragam hiasnya lebih indah, rumit & halus).
