Abstract

The most beautiful series of words form the selected strands of script, is just “thank you” for all the sacrifices to God that from pre-event to post-event there will be no obstacles. It can’t be dinied, that truth is that science always develops according to the demands and developments of the era “nut laku jantraning jaman”, so that if we are not responsive, we will be overtaken and left behind. Ethnomusicology in reality is no longer just a theoretical study. Thus, IDEF will hopefully be able to be answer to the confinement of the “creativity of works” that once existed. Because if studied more deeply in the past all existing creativity was always based on research. Let bygones be bygones, let us welcome the advancement of Ethnomusicology responsibly.
