Abstract
The basic idea of this creation is the structure of human teeth. The arrangement of human teeth, which forms an oval pattern, became the main inspiration in creating the batik motifs. The use of cloves as a supporting motif was inspired by traditional remedies for toothache. The author combines batik and woven fabric as Indonesian cultural heritage into casual ready to wear fashion with the aim of creating clothing that not only has aesthetic value but also serves as an educational medium about the importance of maintaining dental health. The theoretical foundations used in this creation are aesthetic theory, ornament theory, anatomy theory, and ergonomics theory. The creation process uses hand drawn batik and stamped batik techniques with the naphthol dip dye resist coloring technique. The batik motifs consist of human tooth structures, clove flowers, and dental tools. The stages carried out include making clothing patterns and batik motifs, tracing motifs onto fabric, waxing, coloring, removing the wax, cutting the materials, sewing the garments, and finishing. This final project resulted in six casual ready to wear outfits, each with its own distinctive characteristics. These fashion works combine red, fuchsia, cream, and brown colors.
