Abstract

Sebagai seseorang yang memiliki banyak tekanan mental baik dalam keluarga, sosial, maupun lingkungan sekolah, seni lukis menjadi media pelarian yang bisa mewakili apa yang dirasakan dan apa yang tak mampu dikatakan. Walaupun dianggap pelarian, pada akhirnya ketika lingkungan kurang bersahabat, seni lukis membuka ruang untuk banyak berdialog dan mengeksplorasi diri sendiri. Karya menjadi jembatan verbal dalam mengungkapkan ide. Arabella sebagai objek dalam lukisan merupakan karakter penting yang mewakili perasaan dan pengalaman pribadi. Arabella adalah doa yang mampu memberi harapan, merangkul dan menjadikannya sahabat yang menerima segala pengalaman hidup yang telah terjadi agar mampu berdamai dengan masa lalu.
