Abstract
Film animasi “Permen” bercerita tentang seorang anak menghadapi ketakutan dengan bantuan teman barunya yang berupa makhluk mitologi Barongan. Tema tentang ketakutan diangkat bertujuan agar penonton mudah dalam memahami makna yang disampaikan. Serta film ini memiliki genre fantasi dan komedi yang diharapkan dapat menghibur penonton. Pembuatan film animasi “Permen” menggunakan teknik animasi 2D frame-by-frame dan melalui 3 tahap proses, yaitu pra produksi (penulisan cerita, konsep dan riset, desain karakter, serta storyboard), produksi (animatic storyboard, background, penganimasian key-pose dan in-between, clean-up, coloring, export file, dialog, music scoring, dan sound effect), serta pasca produksi (compositing, editing, rendering, dan mastering). Film animasi 2D “Permen” berdurasi 4 menit 6 detik, memiliki jumlah shot sebanyak 53 shots dan 42 backgrounds dengan format HDTV 1920 x 1080 pixel, 24 fps (frame per second). Serta diterapkan 12 Prinsip Animasi (prinsip Squash & Stretch, Anticipation, Staging, Pose to Pose, Follow Through & Overlapping Action, Slow-in & Slow-out, Arcs, Secondary Action, Timing, Exaggeration, Solid Drawing, dan Appeal).
