Abstract
The creation of this work is the author's appreciation for the family and environment that is not far from the agricultural sector, which is then embodied into the form of wedding jewelry to introduce one of the typical fruit-producing plants of the Blitar area named alligator avocado that has an important values and roles, especially for family life and the environment around the author. It is expected to be one of the latest concepts in the jewelry industry and introduce fruit plants typical of the Blitar area so that they are known by the wider community. In addition, the fear of the emergence of these plants is only a momentary trend due to the lack of knowledge of the public about the existence of avocados of this type. Therefore, alligator avocados must be more publicized so that they can compete with other types of avocados. So, if it is not intensively published, the alligator avocado fruit will lack enthusiasts. The creation of this work uses an aesthetic approach method while the creation method uses three main stages, namely exploration, design, and realization. The exploration stage itself uses a data collection method that begins with interviews and collecting references from books. In the design stage, a total of 15 jewelry sketches were made, divided into 3 sets. The sketches were then worked on in the realization stage. The techniques used in making this work are cutting techniques, stained techniques, and carving techniques. The process that has been carried out in the creation of this wedding jewelry work produces works entitled Crescentia, Gretchen, and Engelbertha respectively. The jewelry realized are 3 pairs of rings each for the bride and groom, 2 pairs of earrings, 2 drawstring bracelets, and one hairpiece. Keywoard : alligator avocado, wedding jewelry, Blitar
