Abstract
Nama Rudrah berasal dari Bahasa Jawi Kuno yang berarti sedih, bingung (bingung dalam arti masih ada hubungannya dengan sedih). Pengertia Rudrah menurut penulis adalah pergolakan jiwa dari manusia yang tercakup menjadi satu dalam garapan ini. Susunan Rudrah sangat mirip ujudnyan dengan tari tradisi Jawa, dalam bentuk tari, busana dan iringan. Penulis menyusun Rudrah bagian per bagian. Bagian pertama bentuk dasarnya bedaya sembilan dengan penari tunggal putra. Bagian kedua, setelah bedaya mundur di latar belakang penulis coba secara pokok mewujudkan kesanggupan, keraguan, tekad, kebingungan, kemarahan yang saling berebutan tampil.
