Abstract
Animasi “Volcanid Rise of the Garudha” merupakan projek kerjasama antara program studio animasi ISI Yogyakarta dan studio animasi Kampoong Monster. Mengangkat cerita tentang asal usul keragaman dan kekayaan budaya di Indonesia, bercerita tentang sekumpulan remaja yang bernamakan Mythcatcher yang bekerja pada organisasi Volcanid dalam mengumpulkan informasi mengenai mitologi yang ada. Pembuatan film “Volcanid Rise of the Garudha” diperlukan pengkomposisian aset-aset yang telah dibuat oleh tim produksi. Aset tersebut berupa animate karakter ataupun objek yang telah di-export menjadi png sequence dan juga aset background yang terbagi menjadi beberapa layer.
