Abstract

Clothing with gorga jenggar motif became an inspiration in the creation of artwear clothing, which combines the beauty of the motif shape and its deep philosophical meaning. The uniqueness of gorga jenggar lies in its shape, color, and location, giving a distinctive feature to the fashion design. Artwear itself is known for its aesthetics, artistic expression, and uniqueness. Artwear is not only beautiful, but also meaningful. The application of gorga jenggar motif on artwear clothing can visually enrich the design in every detail of the work. The method used in the creation of this Final Project work is the exploration method which means looking for ideas or inspiration about the concept that you want to bring and pour into a work. This stage is also needed by the creator of the work to find out the background of gorga jenggar motif and artwear clothing to find correlations that can be taken as the main element in the creation of the work. The result of this Final Project are six artwear garments that create a balance between aesthetics and comfort. The types of clothing created prioritize the shape, color, and texture of artwear clothing. This fashion creation aims to produce sustainable and relevant works in the midst of growing and modern fashion trends.
