Abstract

Each region must have its own traditional games such as Engklek from Java or Bas-Basan from Yogyakarta. In the area of West Sumatra or Minangkabau there are also traditional games, one of which is the Koa Card game, a game that uses lots of cards and accuracy. This game is not only played by children but also played by adults too. Koa cards that come in yellow, black and white. It has patterns of dots, lines, circles and some cards use Chinese writing. In Minang there are still many who think negatively about this card because many Minang people who play involve gambling. In terms of the Koa Card pattern, it has an interesting motif when used as a clothing motif and other supporting ornaments. This final project uses the creation method according to Sp. Gustami in realizing his work. Creation methods include; three-stage six-step method. The use of this method refers to the process of creating works with a scope, namely; exploration, design, and realization. The application of the creation method is used to strengthen the concept of creating the final project. The result of the creation of this work is a casual dress, which uses Minangkabau batik motifs. Like the Koa Card motif with a combination of Siriah Saganggam motifs. The colors used are black, white and yellow. And wear a touch of macrame in certain parts of the outfit.
