Abstract

Proses pencatatan Buku Harian tak akan lepas dari proses pengalaman dari apa yang dialami di keseharian. Dari hasil proses pengalaman yang ditulis tersebut, catatan yang ditulis bisa dibaca kembali sebagai metode refleksi diri Visual Diary merupakan gabungan antara catatan harian yang dipadukan dengan beberapa gambar atau coretan pada buku tersebut. Berbeda dengan buku harian pada umumnya yang hanya berisi tulisan, sehingga memiliki kekhasannya tersindiri dalam isinya. Wujud visual yang khas pada Visual Diary memiliki keunikan bentuknya tersendiri, dikarenakan perpaduan antara teks dan gambar di dalamnya. Dari wujud yang khas tersebut munculah Sumber ide untuk memvisualisasikan buku harian melalui fragmentasi catatan dan coretan buku harian ke dalam karya seni lukis. Buku harian visual menjadi catatan penting dalam pengamatan keseharian. Dapat dicermati sebuah fragmen keseharian dari hal yang terkecil atau hal yang spele sekalipun sampai hal yang sangat berpengaruh pada proses pengalaman hidup yang dialami.
